Description Contract Law is a very interesting subject which affects our everyday lives. It seeks to determine what counts as a binding promise and the extent to which the expectations of the person to whom the promise was made are protected. This module provides an introduction to the Law of Contract, exploring, among other things, the key elements of contract formation (such as offer, acceptance, consideration, intention to create contract relations, certainty), vitiating factors (such as duress and undue influence), the role of fairness in Contract Law and the way in which contract theory evaluates fairness. |
