Description

Addresses the forms and elements of the larger-scale system
development process and some of the major notations and
mechanisms employed for this.



Aims

To provide students with an understanding of the core material on Systems Development and the practical problems associated with it.

Intended Learning Outcomes

  • Understanding of major lifecycle forms and development phases and their roles.

  • Ability to use a selection of notations to model system characteristics and forms.

  • Understanding of development practices and design mechanisms and how to apply them.
