Radiation Protection Awareness
Length of programme: 1.15 hours
About the workshop:
Keele University is required to train all workers who work with Ionising Radiation. This workshop provides the introductory training needed to satisfy the general statutory requirements of the Ionising Radiation Regulations 1999. Anyone intending to work with unsealed sources or with X-rays must also attend the relevant additional workshop
Learning Outcomes:
- Consolidation of skills relating to ionising radiation
- To meet the training requirements of the Ionising Radiation Regulations (IRRs)
- To meet the general requirements to be a radiation worker at Keele University
Participants:
For all members of staff who wish to become registered for work with Ionising Radiation.
