Workplace Safety Advisor (WSA) Training
Length of programme: 2 hours
About the workshop:
The Workplace Safety Advisor (WSA) is a recognised role within a School or Department. The main function of the WSA is to advise the Head of School/Department on health and safety matters affecting that School/Department. The role plays an important and integral part in the management of health and safety at a local level. The course focuses on key health and safety topics including risk management and the role of the WSA within the University. Specific risk assessment training is available subject to demand.
Learning outcomes:
To enable appointed WSAs to carry out health and safety functions as appropriate.
