What we want from Alumni - and what Alumni want from us
Length of programme: 1.5 hours
About the Workshop:
This workshop has been developed for academic colleagues and administrative colleagues who wish to develop work with alumni connected to their School or Faculty. Alumni are eager to support Keele but how do we connect with them successfully and what contribution might they make to recruitment, employability, curriculum development and fundraising?
"What We Want from Alumni - and What Alumni Want from Us" presents the key issues and describes the support available from the Development Office to help participants activate a School-based alumni relations strategy. Participants may request one-to-one support from the Development Office following this workshop
This workshop will cover:
- Alumni Relations - What is it for?
- Data; Maintaining Alumni Data and Communications
- Events; Fundraising; Interaction & Volunteering; Engaging the Elite and the International Perspective
Participants:
Open to all including academic colleagues and administrative colleagues, such as Heads of School and School Managers, with an interest in or responsibility for Alumni Relations and Development and in particular those involved in the Welcome to Keele Programme who are required to complete two open sessions within their first two years of employment at Keele.
