Treating Customers Well
Length of programme: 3 hours
About the Workshop:
This programme is a first introduction to the key aspects of improving customer care. It is intended primarily for support staff who have had little, or no previous training in customer care. The workshop explores the importance of "first impressions" for a customer and working to understand customer needs. The programme highlights the essentials of good practice and enables participants to discover useful do's and don'ts when reacting in the way we react to customers. Through case studies, participants will discover effective ways of handling difficult customer situations.
Learning Objectives:
By the end of the workshop you will:
- Be able to identify who are "customers".
- Understand the importance of focusing on the needs of the customer.
- Have established the key elements of good customer practice.
- Have explored useful tips and hints for enhancing customer care.
- Have developed approaches for dealing with a range of difficult customer situations.
Participants:
Open to all members of staff with little or no previous customer care training.
