Successfully Managing a Research Award
Length of Programme: 1.5 hours
About the workshop:
This workshop provides all the information required to enable academic staff to effectively manage a research grant award. Real life experiences and an academic perspective will be provided by a Doctor who has recently completed these processes at Keele.
This session includes:
- Recruitment, induction and development of staff who are directly employed on the research grant
- Managing the research project finances
- Effective project management
By the end of the session you will:
- Have developed confidence in managing a research grant
- Be aware of the relevant university procedures
- Have met key individuals who can assist in the process
