Student Funding and Student Financial Support at Keele
Length of programme: 1 hour
Learning Objectives:
- To understand the funding arrangements for new undergraduate home and EU degree students.
- To be aware of the work of the Student Financial Support Office at Keele, including the services available to students and staff.
- To be aware of the financial support available to students coming to Keele, including bursaries and scholarships.
- To have basic knowledge of funding arrangements and opportunities in respect of continuing (pre-2006) undergraduate students, postgraduate students, international students and students who receive funding from other public bodies such as the NHS and the General Social Care Council.
- To be aware of sources of further information and advice on student funding.
Participants:
Open to all members of staff and in particular those involved in the Welcome to Keele Programme who are required to complete two open sessions within their first two years of employment at Keele.
