SCIMS Assessments Processing - Part 1 and 2

Length of programme: 6 hours (2 x 3 hour session)

Part I will cover:

  • Reports related to assessment procedures.
  • Creating assessment records for the students taking a module.
  • The input of marks, both directly and via spreadsheets.

Part 2 will cover:

  • The confirmation or amendment of marks after examiners' meeting.
  • Dealing with extenuating circumstances and academic misconduct.
  • Processing re-assessment marks.

Familiarity with basic SCIMS operations, as covered on the SCIMS Fundamentals course, will be assumed. 

Participants:

School administrators who will be dealing with processing students' assessment marks in SCIMS.

Participants must be able to commit to BOTH sessions.
