Risk Assessment for Laboratory Staff
Length of programme: 2.5 hours
About the workshop:
Keele University is required to carry out risk assessments in respect of all significant workplace hazards. This course focuses on laboratory health and safety and will include aspects of the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Regulations. By undertaking the course compliance with the law and University policies will be better understood and the participant will feel competent and able to conduct risk assessments efficiently.
Learning outcomes:
- To improve hazard identification and risk assessment skills
- To enable you to evaluate risks, recognise general hazards, identify control measures and document your findings.
