Length of programme: 3 hours
Learning Objectives:
This workshop is designed to improve presentation skills technique by giving feedback on a short talk.
Participants will be asked to present a five minute talk on a subject of their choice. This could also be the first five minutes of a talk given previously. The talk will be recorded on DVD and then played back with the opportunity for other presenters to offer constructive feedback.
To end the session participants will be given some guidelines as to how their DVD can be used individually to improve their presentation skills technique.
Participants:
Research staff and others. This workshop is aimed at research staff who work primarily on projects supported by fixed term funding. It will also be of interest to postgraduate research students. Others members of staff are also welcome to attend, subject to availability of places.
