Listening and Responding Skills
Length of Programme: 2 hours
About the Workshop:
We were all given two ears but only one mouth, but seldom use these senses in proportion. It requires practice to acquire the skills of listening and responding effectively. This workshop will focus on experiential learning with some work on self-awareness.
Learning Objectives
By the end of the workshop you will:
- Demonstrate an understanding of listening and responding skills
- Participate in role-play exercises defining the importance of listening and responding
- Discuss any self-awareness that may have taken place
