Enhancing the Student Experience. OFFA? What are we Doing?

Length of programme: 2 hours

About the Workshop:

The Student Experience has never more so been  in such sharp focus - work in relation to widening access to University, retention and success, supporting students through transition and enhancing employability are stock terms which we all know and are aware of (to a greater or lesser extent).

This workshop will explore the strategic context of these areas across the sector as well as here at Keele. Close attention will be paid to Keele's ongoing commitment to widen participation (in the aftermath of Aimhigher) as well as the work being undertaken to enhance the student experience at all stages of the student journey. This will be framed within the context of the University's Access Agreement which makes clear Keele's intention to continue to commit to this agenda as we approach the 2012/13 Academic year; a year of change for all involved in Higher Education.

Participants:

Open to all members of staff and in particular those involved in the Keele Knowledge Programme who are required to complete two open sessions within their first two years of employment at Keele.
