Delivering Excellent Service

About this workshop:

The Delivering Excellent Service workshop will offer a lively and interactive place where participants can explore why delivering excellent service is important to Keele University.  Through activity and discussion participants will identify the fundamentals of excellent service and consider how they can contribute to meeting the commitments set out in the Student Charter.  Participants will also have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the service related competencies in the Association of University Administrators Framework and to draw up a Personal Development Plan.

Learning Objectives:

By the end of this course you will have:

  • Established why delivering excellent service at Keele is important
  • Defined excellent service as it applies to your role
  • Identified key moments in your service delivery and how to use these opportunities to deliver excellent service
  • Assessed how you meet the commitments outlined in Keele’s Student Charter
  • Written a personal development plan using the competencies included in the Association for University Administrators (AUA) framework that relate to service delivery

Participants:

The Delivering Excellent Service workshop is open to all members of staff with little or no recent customer care training.
