The Trinity College Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) is one of the most widely recognised and highly regarded initial TESOL qualifications and is accepted by the British Council and also by schools and employers worldwide.

The English Language Unit at Keele University has been offering a highly successful modular programme leading to the CertTESOL for several years.  The course is offered as elective modules for Keele students over 2-years (2 modules in Level 1 and 2 modules in Level 2) and aims to provide initial training in TEFL through a balance of practical teaching experience and varied input sessions. Trainees will have the opportunity to work extensively with the large body of overseas students at Keele University.

Taken as electives as part of your degree there are no tuition fees, just a moderation fee of £150 (charged by Trinity College London). For students who wish to take the TESOL course as additional modules there is a charge of £400 per module for tuition fees plus the £150 moderation fee.
