Postgraduate Teaching Certificates for new Life Sciences staff

Mrs Trish Procter and Dr Catherine Merrick were awarded Postgraduate Certificates in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education at a ceremony in Keele Hall on December 12th.

New lecturers Dr Merrick and Mrs Procter will now become fellows of the Higher Education Academy, after completing Keele's year-long 'Teaching and Learning in Higher Education' programme.   Dr Sheila Hope (Lecturer in Biochemistry) who last year won a Teaching Excellence award for her creative and innovative teaching methods, was presented with a certificate for her Action Research project work at the same event.
