Dr William Kirk launches new book 'Plants for Bees'
‘A wonderful and hugely important book’ - Kate Humble (BBC presenter)
Dr William Kirk, Senior Lecturer in entomology and ecology, will be talking about his new book 'Plants for Bees' at Bridgemere Nursery and Garden World at 11am on September 29th.
‘Plants for Bees’ is a new publication which has been expertly researched and is packed with stunning images. Kate Humble (BBC presenter), writes in the foreword that this is ‘A wonderful and hugely important book’.
In his talk at Bridgemere, Dr Kirk will provide information about our various native bee species, as well as expert guidance on the importance of certain plants to specific bees. It will be a great opportunity to learn how to enrich the landscape for bees by choosing the right plants.
