Dr Sheila Hope, Lecturer in Biochemistry, was one of just 5 recipients of 2011-12 Teaching Excellence Awards from the University.

The assessment panel particularly commended Sheila's creative and innovative teaching methods and the very positive response that they receive from her students.

Particularly noted were her use of technology, which she uses to support students to learn at their own pace, and her provision of timely, high quality feedback.
