Academic Search Premier - EBSCO
Many business and management titles are included in this collection, which has over 2,000 full text journals. Click here for help on getting started with this database.

HeinOnline e-journal Library
Predominantly a collection of law journals, but also includes many titles on foreign policy, politics and international relations including; International Journal; Foreign Affairs; American Journal of Political Science; Global Governance; Helsinki Monitor. If you are off campus look for the "institutional log-in" or "Shibboleth" links, then select the UK Federation followed by Keele University from a drop-down list to get to the log-in page. When prompted type in your Keele login to access the service.

The Times Digital Archive
Search the complete digital edition of The Times from 1785-2006. The entire newspaper is captured with all articles, advertisements and illustrations/photos.

Find A Reference In Politics and IR

There are more journals available in addition to those we have electronically. Reference databases (sometimes also called "citation" or "abstract" databases) can help you find these if you want to search more widely for papers, especially if you're doing a literature review for a dissertation.

The full text will not be available from the citation database, however clicking on the logo will search our e-journals and provide a link to the whole paper if available, or direct you to where a paper copy may be found in the Library's print journal collection. Our main citation databases are;

Proquest
Access to over 20 databases covering major areas of research in most subject areas, including the the Applied Social Science Index and Abstracts (ASSIA) from 1987 to date.

The British Library ETHOS project provides electronic access to research theses from many UK universities.

Index to Theses
A searchable listing of theses with abstracts accepted for higher degrees by universities in Great Britain and Ireland since 1716. You can only access the Index to Theses from computers on the Keele network.
