Australian Education Index (Proquest). A collection of research documents relating to educational trends, policy, and practices. Coverage from 1977.
British Education Index (BEI) (Proquest-Dialog). References relating to research, policy and practice in education and training in the UK (1975 onwards).
ERIC (Proquest). This database is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education to provide extensive access to education-related literature.

- British Osteopathic Association: The BOA is a merger of the three professional bodies representing osteopaths. and was formed in 1998.
- CAMLIS (Complementary & Alternative Medicine Library & Information Service). The service is part of the University College Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and is based at the Royal London Homoeopathic Hospital. Practitioners, patients and members of the public can use the Library for reference. Visit the website for additional information.

National Council for Osteopathic Research NCOR: The National Council for Osteopathic Research (NCOR) was constituted in 2003 in order to explore and assure the place that osteopathy has to play in Healthcare.
Pain Management
- Oxford Pain Internet Site: Part of Bandolier. Systematic reviews on various aspects of pain (please note there is support for updating the website at this time)
Professional Societies
- Chartered Society of Physiotherapists: The professional, educational and trade union body for the chartered physiotherapists, physiotherapy students & assistants. It was founded in 1894.
- Health Professions Council: Regulatory body for 13 health professions, including operating department practitioners and physiotherapists. Publishes standards and reports
Rehabilitation
- National Rehabilitation Center (NIRC): Website from the US. Wide range of disability and rehabilitation-orientated information. One section is aimed at the public, and one at researchers. You can search REHABDATA (see above) and other sites simultaneously via the 'Researchers' section
