To help broaden access to resources in a way that is fair for all users, books that are in heaviest demand are kept in Short Loan (on the Middle Floor of the Campus Library) or are available in electronic format.  More information is available on our Borrowing page

Major special collections include the British Parliamentary Papers Collection and the Local Collection of material relating to Staffordshire and neighbouring counties. The EDC (European Documentation Centre) Collection contains the official publications of the European Community.

There is a separate Health Library in the Clinical Education Centre at the City General Hospital (University Hospital of North Staffordshire).
