Terms of Reference for Library Advisory Group

  • To advise the Librarian on the information needs of the academic community
  • To provide information and guidance to assist the Librarian in the formulation of the Library budget
  • To advise the Librarian about matters relating to Library policy and management
  • To advise on the development of new Library services
  • To receive regular reports and operational plans from the Librarian
  • To represent the interests of Library users

  • PVC Library & IT Strategy (Chair)
  • PVC Learning & Academic Development
  • University Librarian
  • Two representatives from each of the faculties (these should reflect both teaching and research interests)
    • Dr Lindsay Bashford - Faculty of Health
    • Mr Wynne Thomas – Faculty of Health
    • Professor Ian Bell – Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences
    • Professor Charlotte Williams – Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences
    • Professor Dave Hoole – Faculty of Natural Sciences
    • Mrs Ximena Canter– Faculty of Natural Sciences
  • Two representatives from KUSU
    • Ms Rosie Weatherley (President)
    • Mr Sam Higham (VP Education and Welfare)
  • A representative from KPA
    • Dr Oliver Wakefield
      Up to two Library staff in attendance

  • Three times per year
