Study Skills Resources
This section of the WelcomeWeb is your guide to developing effective study skills at university.
The 'Managing Your Workload' page will help you to plan how to use your time efficiently, to make sure that you can do all the studying you need to do, as well as finding time for hobbies and socialising!
One of the most important skills that you will need to develop as a university student is how to take notes - whether in lectures and seminars, or from reading textbooks, cases and articles. Try following the advice on the 'Effective Notetaking' page - you'll be surprised how much difference it can make.
There's also a study skills self-diagnostic test. Try taking the test and see how you get on. You might be surprised by the answers!
