Registration Week - Keele University

Registration Week

There is lots to do in registration week and details are supplied in documents sent to you before you arrive. Make sure you read these or the first week will be very confusing!

Law Pre-Arrival Notes 2012/13

Make sure that you carefully read and understand the pre arrival notes 2012 13. These explain everything that you must do for Law when you arrive on Saturday 22nd September and in the week ahead. If you are a dual honours student, your other principal subject will probably send you something similar.

You MUST take the time to read the pre arrival notes 2012 13 thoroughly so that you know exactly when to register and attend the relevant sessions.

Copies can also be downloaded from the University's Central Welcome Web pages.

Welcome Lecture

Law's Welcome Lecture will take place on Monday 24th September from 12-1pm in the Westminster Theatre. This is the really big lecture theatre in the Chancellor's Building (near the Vite & Eat shop).

Registration in the School of Law

All Law students are asked to register with the Law School between 1.30pm and 4.30pm on Monday 24th September. Dual honours students should register with both of their Schools. To register with the Law School please report to the main office, CBC1.001. Because of the volume of students in Law we would be grateful if students could attend as follows:

Students with surnames J – R: 2.30pm - 3.30pm
Students with surnames S – Z: 3.30pm – 4.30pm

Meeting Your Personal Tutor

You will receive confirmation of your allocated Personal Tutor when you complete the University’s enrolment procedures on Saturday 22th September, and you are required to meet with your personal tutor in small groups between 2pm and 4pm on Monday 24th September or between 1.30pm and 4pm on Tuesday 25th September. A list of each personal tutor, tutee groups and the room for the meeting will also be displayed on the Law Level 1 noticeboard situated on floor CBC1 of the Law School
