Professional Study Scholarship Scheme
Keele University School of Law is committed to supporting academic excellence among its students. To this end, we are delighted to announce the following scholarship schemes for high-achieving entrants. These schemes signal our intention not only to recruit excellent students, but to support them in sustaining their excellence and becoming high-quality graduates.
Professional Study Scholarship Scheme 2014
This scheme is for students beginning their undergraduate studies in 2014. It takes two key forms:
A University level scheme designed to reward, and encourage, excellence amongst all new undergraduate students from 2014 onwards. Those students who achieve AAA (or better) will be entitled to £6000 over the course of their time at Keele, (subject to satisfactory academic performance and general conduct for the duration of the degree programme); those who achieve AAB will be entitled to £3000, subject to the same conditions, and those students achieving ABB will be entitled to £1500, subject to the same conditions. This is in addition to the other bursaries available under our OFFA agreement. Indeed a student eligible for such a bursary who also achieves the high grades will be entitled to claim both bursary and scholarship.
In addition, the School of Law will offer AAB+ students who go on to obtain a First class degree a £2K contribution towards the fees on a Professional programme (e.g. LPC or BPTC); AAB+ students who achieve a 2(i) would be entitled to a £1K contribution and ABB+ students who secure a 1st class degree will also be entitled to a £1K contribution to their professional fees.
