Did you know you can gain CPD points whilst studying for a recognised postgraduate qualification?
The School of Law also offers a number of postgraduate diplomas and Master's degrees. Each of these postgraduate programmes is taught by way of four three day block sessions. Each block meets the annual CPD requirement of 16 hours as currently set by the Law Society. Legal practitioners may also like to consider enrolling for a postgraduate diploma or masters level degree. This can be completed over up to 5 years. For the first four years, you could complete a single module that would meet your CPD obligations. At the end of four years and after the successful completion of four modules you could be awarded a Postgraduate Diploma. If you wanted to convert your diploma to an MA or LLM, then you will have the option to complete a dissertation of 15,000-20,000 words, supervised by a member of academic staff.
