Keele Law People: Louise O'Callaghan

My name is Louise O'Callaghan, I am a barrister working in a civil set in London and I completed my undergraduate degree in law and politics (with a geology subsidiary) at Keele University, graduating in 2005. After graduation I undertook the BVC at Northumbria. Prior to the Bar I worked for Shell International Petroleum Company (where my geology subsidiary came in very useful!). Whilst studying I was the elected President of Bar Society and President of the Keele European Law Students association… Keele is very progressive in its approach to teaching, encouraging its students to explore and question the law from a number of different angles through the interdisciplinary programme. This made learning more interesting and I would highly recommend studying at Keele for this reason alone, although there are many others!
