Public Sector Investment and Urban Regeneration

This ESRC-funded seminar examined the contribution that public sector spending and investment makes to the regeneration of cities and communities. At a time of deep public spending cuts, this seminar examined how such retrenchment will affect local economies heavily reliant on public spending and what can be done to chart a new agenda for growth in England’s cities.
