What is the future for Medium-Sized Cities?

27-28 June 2011

Claus Moser Research Centre, Keele University

This event examined the considerable challenges facing the regeneration of post-industrial medium-sized cities (MSCs) at a time of highly constrained governmental budgets, and with trends towards population shrinkage, aging, and increasing social exclusion. This event examined the future of regeneration in MSCs, examining possible future sources of innovation as well as failure. The event had an international as well as UK focus.
