Overview
In curriculum 2014 much of what we currently know as “Scientific enquiry” is embedded in the newly titled “Working Scientifically”. However, there are changes and additions to the enquiry aspects of the new curriculum. This practical course outlines what these changes are and offers suggestions on how best to teach them. Ideas and activities using all the different types of enquiry at each key stage, as outlined in the new document, form a large part of the day. Participants will also have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with continuity and progression in each different type of enquiry.
