I hold a PhD in Economics from Georgia State University USA, and a Master in Economics from University of Graz, Austria. I joined Keele Management School as a lecturer in Economics in January 2011.
Previously, I worked as a Post-doctoral Researcher in the Irish Centre for Social Gerontoloty/Discipline of Economics at the National University of Ireland, Galway. Prior to this I had worked as a Graduate Assistant at the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies, Department of Economics, Georgia State University.
I am particularly interested in the economics of ageing, public finance, labour economics, applied microeconomics, and applied econometrics. My current research themes include the retirement decision, financial incentives in pension plans, risk aspects in public, occupational and private pensions, and well-being of the elderly.
