I hold a PhD from Université Louis Pasteur, Strasbourg, France awarded in 1993. I have held previous positions at Keele University, Laval University in Canada, Université Louis Pasteur, Strasbourg and Queen's University Belfast before taking up my current chair at Keele in January 2006.
