Student Consultant of the Year 2013
KMS Student Consultant of the Year 2013
Twenty six KMS postgraduate students chose to spend this summer working on consultancy projects with local employers rather than completing a dissertation. As part of the formal assessment process they all had to present on "Assessing the Impact of My Student Consulting Project" to their host employer and Keele supervisor. The four best presentations were chosen to go forward to the 'Student Consultant of the Year' award.
The successful students, and their projects, were Pengfei Ren working with Rockett Home Rentals on the student lettings market, Wai Chi Chu (Erica) researching digital inclusion for Aspire Housing, Pik Yiu Chan looking at local market trading with Newcastle Borough Council and Thanh Dat Ha who researched the future of shopping with Intu Shopping Centres.
Following the presentations members of the audience submitted their votes with Erica emerging as Keele Management School's 'Student Consultant of the Year 2013.'
Congratulations to Erica and to all this year's student consultants who worked extremely hard to make a real contribution to their host organisation and our thanks to the employer organisations, many of whom have worked with us over a number of years. We hope to work with you all again next summer.
