KMS Student Consultant of the Year 2012
This summer 30 students took part in Keele Management School's Masters' internship programme working with local organisations ranging from SME’s through to one of the UK’s largest retail management companies on a variety of ‘real’ projects such as the use of social media as a marketing tool; information management; the consolidation of administration processes across a large organisation and the consolidation of financial reporting systems.
The end of this year’s programme was marked on Friday 14th September with the ‘Student Consultant of the Year’ event at the Sustainability Hub when four students were given the opportunity to present to a group of employers, academics and fellow students to be voted ‘Student Consultant of the Year 2012’. The selected students were Laura Jimenez and Lu Xu who had both worked with the retail management company Capital Shopping Centres; Yunyun Lu whose project had been with IT company Boldon James and Frederike Damme who had worked with local home rentals company Rockett Rentals.
