Using the Keele Learning Environment (KLE)
Here are key documents and video tutorials which will allow a first look at what is coming and how you can engage with the online tools.
In supporting all staff the Learning and Professional Development Centre will be offering a mixed programme of staff induction courses, one to one support and whole programme redesign for your blended learning approach to teaching and assessment.
All academic and administrative support staff who are members of programme teaching teams, schools and faculties are asked to attend. Please go to the bottom of this page for dates and times of training courses.
If you want to seek support outside Keele please click this LINK to go to Blackboards discussion community. There you will find people who have been in just the same position as you, stuck with a question. The people there are also volunteers from other HE institutions, it is very much a community of teaching staff.
Remember you can book a bespoke session for your teaching team, please contact Matthew West via email in the first instance and he will call you back to discuss your needs in detail (firstname.lastname@example.org).
These resources are for ALL students.
All new students will have seen the e-Induction to Keele University LINK, it contains the key information about using the KLE at Keele. This LINK goes to the IT support pages for new students which contains videos and further information.
Please see the Induction materials for new students which you will have received prior to arrival at Keele, they contain all the current information you will need. The left hand menu has a link to the Online manual for Students.
This link will take you the full list of staff courses hosted by the University. The link will open in a new page.
