Keele Observatory
Space and the stars are a draw for everyone. Tap into this enthusiasm by booking a visit to the Keele Observatory.
For daytime visits the observatory has a solar telescope; evening visits are also available. The observatory is open to the public for viewing sessions on Tuesday evenings (20:00 - 22:30) and Saturday afternoons (14:00 - 16:30), weather permitting. Members of the local Astronomy Society are on hand during these times to answer questions.
To book an evening visit to the Observatory e-mail the Observatory team.
2012 is a celebratory year for the Observatory as it has been running for 50 years. To mark this a history of the Observatory has been compiled and can be downloaded from here - First fifty years of the Keele Observatory
