What is Keelelink?

Keele University’s community is wide and various; local, national and international partnerships are an important part of the work that we do.Keele has a strong history of involvement with schools, colleges and other educational partners and our schools and colleges liaison activity is an important part of this work. Whether it be addressing gifted and talented agendas, widening participation or simply connecting schools, academics and potential future students, Keelelink as a partnership has something to offer your institution. Much of the activity available has been developed by working closely with our partners and offers a wide range of events, modules, support and activity for all ages and reflects the broad base of subject area and qualifications the University has to offer.

Schools and colleges liaison is important to Keele because it introduces learners of all ages to the challenges and opportunities of a university education. We offer our partners the flexibility to choose the programmes that suit them, at the key stage they wish and with offerings both on Keele campus or in school. This partnership is intended to ensure that Keele University and its partner schools and colleges receive maximum benefit from their relationship with each other. It is also designed to clarify expectations and commitments on both sides. There are a number of key benefits that may only be accessed through the partnership. Similarly the commitments that your institution has to make to the University are clearly defined and are intended to maximise your benefit from this relationship. Keele has always been committed to working with our schools and colleges. Over the last few years we have developed highly productive relationships to enhance the educational experiences of our young people. The new partnership brochure extends that ambition of this joint working, and I am delighted to commend it and its contents to you.
