Supporting the Keele Key Fund
The Keele Key fund has now been running since the spring of 2008 and has proved to be a great success not only for the KKF grant applicants but the Alumni who have been so generous in their support for Keele. More than £400,000 has been pledged over a three to five year period and 32 of our alumni making legacy commitments to Keele.
The funds are distributed by the Keele Key Fund Disbursement committee whose membership is made up of representatives of Keele staff, current undergraduate and postgraduate students, and lay members. The committee meets three times a year in April June and November to receive applications.
Over the past three years grants of around £120,000 have been made to support 42 projects including the Keele Student Mediation Service (first in a UK University) to the setting up of a campus-wide emergency service, the Keele First Responders Team
