Visit the Sustainability Hub at Keele University
Come and visit the Sustainability Hub!
The Hub is open to visitors from nine to five every weekday. We have displays and demonstration equipment on renewable energy, information on innovative technologies at the Hub and Keele's green campus, tips on sustainable living, and activity sheets for children so come along and see us!
The Hub exhibits will change regularly and we have different activity days and events throughout the year so you never know what you might find!!
Activities for Children
Keele University Sustainability Hub has activities and exhibits accessible to children. We have activity sheets for children to go around the exhibit and for outside. Some of these change seasonally and some are related to events at the Hub.
We also have leaflets with activities that children can do at home or near where they live.
Activities for Families
There is fun for all the family at the Sustainability Hub. The exhibits are family friendly with information accessible to children and adults.
Learn how renewable technologies work and which ones might work in your home, as well as see rooftop solar panels close up, while the children can see how solar power makes the blades of our toy helicopters spin.
Why not try geocaching together? All you need is a smartphone or GPS unit and our sheet of clues. Or go for a walk around the woods, lakes and gardens which stretch from the Hub all the way down to Keele Hall.
Future Exhibits
More exhibits will be coming soon. Watch out for wildlife, wild birds, and dinosaurs in our Family Fun Days.
