An update for Games Console Users

The Xbox now works on HallsNet......

Xbox users will be pleased to know that you can now connect them to HallsNet. We currently only support connecting via a wired connection, so this may mean that you have to buy another ethernet adapter and network cable. The IT Service Desk have a small number of USB to Ethernet adapters in stock at £17.50. For more information on how to connect

Don't worry if you have a PS3 or Wii ........

Over the next few weeks we will be working to get the other game platforms, PS3 and Wii working with Windows 7 and also looking at connecting games consoles such as Xbox and PS3 to Mac OS in order to connect to HallsNet.

If you would like to help us......

We are currently looking for a couple of PS3 users  who have a Windows 7 laptop who are willing to spare a couple of hours of your time to help us test instructions and settings. If you would like to help, could you please email itservice@keele.ac.uk.

If you need any help or advice connecting to HallsNet contact itservice@keele.ac.uk.
