Dr Gavin Russell is a Consultant Renal Physician at the University Hospital of North Staffordshire and has been a Senior Lecturer at Keele since 1987. Since 2000 he has helped develop the Clinical Education Centre at UHNS to enable integration of Nurse, Undergraduate and Postgraduate education.  He became Associate Medical Director and Head of Division in 2000, and in 2007 was appoonted as UHNS's  Medical Director for Strategy Planning and Transformation.
