Em Prof James Elder

Professor James Elder, previously Reader in Surgery at Manchester University and Honorary Consultant Surgeon at Manchester Royal Infirmary, was appointed to Keele University's first Chair of Surgery in the Department of Postgraduate Medicine at Keele in November 1983.
