Dr Damian McClelland is a Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon at the University Hospital of North Staffordshire, having moved to Staffordshire from the Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital at Oswestry in 2006. He spent a year in Australia in 2004-5, including two 6-month fellowships in shoulder and elbow surgery traumaat theMelbourne Orthopaedic Group and Monash University.

His surgical role at UHNS includes arthroscopic and open surgery of the shoulder and elbow, including shoulder replacements. His specialist trauma interest is the management of complex trauma and reconstruction of the shoulder and elbow, including external fixation of unstable elbow injuries. He is also interested in the management of the post-traumatic stiff elbow.
