Science Artwork Competition
In 2012, ISTM held a competition for scientific images among its members. This was partly to produce some artwork to brighten up the walls of the Guy Hilton Research Centre, but mainly to show off some of the excellent work carried out within ISTM, and help members of the public to visualise and understand it.
The Competition was organised by Dr Paul Roach and a £100 prize was awarded for the best entry (right) "Rat ventral mesencephalon neurospheres" by Dr Rowan Orme.
All the entries can be seen in the Photo Gallery.
Images could be of any subject matter covering basic science and clinical research activities; any visualisation that demonstrates the scope of the work carried out in the ISTM, from microscopy images and presentation of data, to photographs of clinical / academic collaborators and patients.

ISTM's images from the 2006 Keele Science Insight competition are also displayed at GHRC and the ground floor corridor of Huxley Building, following a touring exhibition.
