International Student Support

Karen Manley

Karen Manley

I am the International Student Support Manager and I have worked in the area of international student support since 1994 at two other universities and a college of further education, all in the city of Birmingham.  I have an interest in Japan after completing my joint-honours degree in Japanese Studies and Music and then participating in the JET Programme in Saitama, Japan.  The trip with International students that I enjoyed most was to Paris for four days.

Tracy Phillips

I am the International Student Support Officer (ISSO) at Keele.  I am originally from Washington State in the USA.  I first came to the UK as an international student and have been living away from my home country for the last seven years, including two years in Poland. I am very happy to now be at Keele.  My previous experience includes coordinating international exchange programs, teaching basic skills and EFL, corporate language training as well as holding a M.Ed. in TESOL and a MA in Educational Leadership.
