Karen Manley
I am the International Student Support Manager and I have worked in the area of international student support since 1994 at two other universities and a college of further education, all in the city of Birmingham. I have an interest in Japan after completing my joint-honours degree in Japanese Studies and Music and then participating in the JET Programme in Saitama, Japan. The trip with International students that I enjoyed most was to Paris for four days.
Chris Hargreaves
After 20 years teaching in Stoke-on-Trent and then managing the Playing for Success study scheme at Port Vale Football Club, I recently started working at Keele University in the role of International Student Support Officer. With a background in student mentoring, I look forward to supporting international and EU students in experiencing everything Keele University has to offer - both academically and socially.
A keen cyclist, I can be seen most mornings slowly climbing Keele Bank on my trusty Brompton. All shouts of encouragement will be much appreciated!
