Graduate Internships

Tom Nadin Tom Nadin >

Through the Keele Internships Scheme, Tom undertook a 6 month placement at the North Staffordshire Chamber of Commerce working with the Membership and Policy Manager. Tom's role enabled him to attend many events, including a trip to Brussels and he is now employed by the Chamber as a Policy Adviser.

Rebecka is a Biochemistry and Geography Keele graduate who took part in Keele's Destination Green internship scheme. During her 14 week placement at Churchill China she worked on a waste recovery project, helping the company reduce environmental and financial impact.

Chris took part in our internship scheme Project FIT with Aerotherm Group and now works as their Group Marketing Manager.

Kirsty Burns, an Environmental Geography and International Development Graduate accepted a permanent job at One Telford after carrying out a 12-week project to develop and implement a system of calculating the carbon footprint of staff.

Louise secured a permanent role as an Environmental Co-ordinator after completing 2 internships arranged by Keele.

Ross completed an internship with Shropshire based Environment Analyst and is now employed by them as an Analyst.

Matthew took part in our internship scheme Keele Connect with Briggs Equipment and now works with them as an Environmental Advisor.

Lauren took part in our internship schemes Project Green and Keele Connect with Wardell Armstrong.  Now she works with them full-time as an Energy Project Technician.

Meghan was offered a 12-month contract as a Sustainability Officer following a 14-week internship at Culina Group, Market Drayton.

Roisin Nelson, a 2011 Physical Geography graduate successfully completed an internship at WWRD in Stoke on Trent. Roisin’s project was based around office waste management.

Harriet graduated in 2011 with a degree in Geography and was placed on a 14-week Internship at Alstom Grid UK Ltd. Harriet worked on a project assessing and making recommendations for alternative options for packaging waste.
