Student Profiles

The teaching staff are always helpful, replying to e-mails in good time, always offering one-on-one outside lecture times and if you need help you will almost certainly receive it throughout the course.

It won’t be easy moving away from home to a different country, it may be difficult at first but there are plenty of supporting facilities for anyone struggling in any area. The entire experience is definitely worth every single second, you probably won’t get another chance like it ever again. It’ll open your eyes.  Definitely would do it all over again.

 I was attracted to Keele due to it being a campus university.  The fact that Keele has a cheaper international tuition fee relative to other universities as well as a lower living cost compared to other UK regions was important to!

Scholarships

Keele International Student Scholarship

Students from Hong Kong are eligible to apply for the Keele International Student Scholarship (KISS).

The undergraduate KISS is worth GBP2000 towards the cost of the annual tuition fees for the duration of the course.  Students studying a three-year degree can therefore save GBP6000 from the total cost of their degree studies.

The postgraduate KISS is worth GBP3000 towards the cost of tuition and will be deducted from the second instalment of tuition fees.

The Scholarships are awarded to students who can demonstrate excellence in at least two of the following areas:

* Academic qualifications,
* English Language ability,
* Understanding of the course and motivation to study at Keele,
* Extra-curricular or work experience
To apply for the KIS Scholarship you must have applied to Keele and been offered a place to study here.  You must then complete a separate application form (download
KISS Application Form) Applications must have been received and processed before the start of academic year for which the application is made.  KIS Scholarships cannot be awarded to students who have already started their degree at Keele.

* Please note that students studying the 5-year undergraduate degree in Medicine and the 4-year undergraduate degree in Pharmacy are not eligible for this award.
The decisions on Scholarships are made by the International Recruitment Team and their decision is final.
