Living at Keele

Keele University has the largest area of campus in the UK and in that green and pleasant area we have 3,200 rooms available to students, international students being guaranteed a room for the entire duration of their full-time study. All rooms are furnished (with bed, wardrobe, desk, chair, bedside cabinet, desk and lamp) and are heated.

If you choose to live in the local community we can also help you find accommodation off-campus.

All new students receive accommodation application forms sent out by the admission offices. There are various types of room (including washbasin/en suite, in single-sex blocks etc.) and various periods of let (33, 37, 42 or 51 week ) depending on what kind of student you are and your preferences and budget.

If you live in Keele campus accommodation you can pay your accommodation fees in three instalments in October, January and April/May.

For postgraduate students, if you have completed and returned your accommodation application form to Student Accommodation Services by 30 June you are guaranteed an offer of accommodation. Postgraduates are normally put in separate postgraduate blocks.

Keele does not offer family accommodation. If your family is accompanying you to Keele you will probably have to look for accommodation in the surrounding area. Keele has a few small flats for single-parent families only.
