Arriving at Keele

All international students are expected to attend the Induction programme on Wednesday 25 September; you will need to arrange your arrival at Keele before this date. If your course starts before this date your School will be in contact with you and this will be usually indicated on your Offer Letter.  If you are having difficulty arranging flights and may need to arrive earlier or later you should contact the International Admissions Office as soon as possible so that they try to assist you.

For students who are arriving for the induction programmes there will be a coach pick-up at Manchester Airport and details can be found here.

If you arrive at Keele after 5 pm and have University Accommodation you should go to the reception desk in the Darwin Building (called 24-hour reception) and collect information and room keys.

Students studying at the International Study Centre at Keele will receive information about the arrival programmes from the ISC, some of which will be the same as the postgraduate and undergraduate programmes for all students.

Induction programme

An induction programme will be available for all new international students: this will start on Wednesday 25 September. Details of this programme will be sent to you a few weeks before the start of semester.  This programme will give you information about Keele and living and studying here.

Enrolment

When you arrive at Keele we will ask you to enrol as a student and then register on your course.  During enrolment we will need to take a copy of your Passport and Visa to be in the UK, we may need to check your academic qualifications that we admitted you on to your course with. Please ensure that you travel with these documents in your hand luggage when you travel to Keele. If your visa requires you need to register with the police we can assist with this, however please ensure that you register within the time frame given when you enter the UK.
