From the cradle to the grave: The importance of musculoskeletal disorders in primary care

The lecture will focus on the importance of primary care management for common musculoskeletal disorders, highlighting local research success and identifying future directions to improve patient care.
Christian Mallen is a local general practitioner, Professor of General Practice Research and Arthritis Research UK Clinician Scientist. His research focuses on improving the diagnosis and management of common musculoskeletal disorders in primary care and includes a portfolio of studies ranging from clinical epidemiology to randomised trials.
